It almost doesn’t require lip liners but for the purpose of creativity, lip liners can always be used with these lipsticks. I don’t use lip liner by the way but they’re still very easy to apply, and like I’ve said I have not experienced them bleeding out. There it goes, friends! I can’t say it any other way, I am in love with NYX matte lipsticks and I will always repurchase. This lipstick is perfect for any occasion even if you just wanna Netflix and chill.
NYX LIPSTICK SIREN SKIN
For me this is the perfect red for my skin tone and like I’ve mentioned, it does not dry my lips. If you’re a fan of those $16 lipsticks, you can call NYX’s Alabama a dupe then because it is just as vibrant and easy to apply. If you’re a girly girl, you must’ve owned MAC’s Ruby Woo or Viva Glam 1 one way or another. I just feel like you’ll definitely notice when a lipstick bleeds when you’re wearing dark colored ones.Īgain, speaking of seasons, this lippie is for all season! You absolutely cannot go wrong with this.
Love these two dark colors and I love it even more because they don’t bleed. Siren however is lighter than NYX’s Simply Vamp Lipcream, which I also have been using. These two colors are actually both violet, Aria being slightly lighter than Siren. You can see the damage I’ve done on Aria. Speaking of seasons, Fall is here and that means dark lipstick, dark nails, dark everything! These two are my favorite fall and winter lippies. Anyway, I love this color so much! It’s bright and really screams SUMMER! I honestly don’t know what to do with them.
NYX LIPSTICK SIREN MAC
)īut this next one is my favorite summer lippie of ALL! Before I got my hands on this lipstick, I was using MAC Impassioned and MAC Pink Nouveau but MAC really dries my lips especially their matte lipsticks. I used these three a lot during Spring and Summer. Strawberry Daiquiri just have a little bit of a light orange to it and Whipped Caviar is just a little lighter than Natural. Strawberry Daiquiri and Whipped Caviar are the closest tones to Natural. After buying this color, it immediately became my go-to lipstick.
It has a slight of a pinkish glow and goes perfectly with any makeup look even if you’re going for the “no makeup look”. I fell in love with this color because it really is natural but it doesn’t leave you bare. Here’s a closer look on Natural, which is my first NYX lipstick and this being my second tube because I killed the first one. For this quality, for such an affordable prize please allow me to go crazy. When I’m at CVS or Ulta, I can’t help but check the NYX section and pick up some of their products and these lipsticks because they’re only $5.99!! You really can’t beat that. No mismatched colors and with a few swatches on your lips, you get great color payoff. With these lipsticks, what you see is really what you get. Here are swatches of all 7 Lipsticks and you already see how rich and pigmented they all are.
So far I only have the following matte colors but I’m on a mission to complete the whole set because I love their lipsticks! I have a lot of great things to say about NYX products and their lipsticks specifically for this post but there are some cons with the pros so keep reading!
